A gathering for women walking a living medicine path

There are moments on the medicine path when guidance cannot be found in books, trainings, or solitary practice. Moments when what is needed is to sit with others who recognise the terrain, who understand the responsibility of carrying medicine, and who can hold space without explanation.

The Medicine Women’s Circle is a quarterly gathering for women already walking a shamanic path. It is a place to rest the role, to be met as a woman as well as a carrier of medicine, and to allow what is moving beneath the surface to be seen and held.

This is a circle of peers.
A space of recognition rather than instruction.

The nature of this circle

This circle is rooted in ancient ways of gathering among women who served their communities as healers, seers and guardians of the unseen. It is not a training or initiation space. It is a place of continuity and community.

Here, medicine does not need to be performed.
Wisdom does not need to be proven.
Experience does not need to be explained.

We sit together so that what is carried does not become heavy through isolation.

What this circle offers

Each gathering is guided by shamanic principles of presence, respect, and deep listening. The structure remains minimal, allowing the intelligence of the group and the unseen to guide what unfolds.

Gatherings may include:

  • Opening the space with intention and prayer
  • Time to arrive fully in the body and breath
  • Sharing from lived experience on the medicine path
  • Holding personal or collective thresholds and initiations
  • Silence, witnessing, and energetic attunement
  • Gentle closing to integrate what has been touched

There is no pressure to share. Silence is honoured as medicine.

For whom this circle is held

This circle is for women who are already walking as medicine women, healers, shamans and ceremonial space holders. It is for those who carry responsibility for others, for land, for lineage, and who recognise the need to be held themselves.

It is for women navigating:

  • The weight and beauty of holding medicine
  • Transitions in role, identity, or calling
  • Periods of opening, deepening, or quiet unraveling
  • The loneliness that can arise on a solitary path
  • The need to be witnessed by those who truly understand

This is not an introductory circle. A lived relationship with shamanic ceremonial practice is required where you have experiencing holding space for others using plant, animal, mycelium or shamanic ceremony.

The role of the circle

The Medicine Women’s Circle exists to restore balance.

When medicine women are supported, listened to, and witnessed, their work becomes clearer, steadier, and more grounded. The circle offers a place to release what has been absorbed, to remember personal boundaries, and to reconnect with one’s own source rather than only serving others.

What arises here is held in confidence and respect. The circle itself becomes a vessel for regulation, remembrance, and renewal.

Safety, respect, and confidentiality

This circle is held with strong ethical boundaries. What is shared remains within the circle. There is no hierarchy, no teaching, and no advice-giving unless explicitly invited.

Each woman is responsible for her own medicine, while being supported by the collective field.

Practical details

The Medicine Women’s Circle meets once a quarter in a small, committed group to preserve depth and integrity.

Dates, times, location, and energy exchange details are shared upon registration.

If you feel recognition rather than curiosity as you read this, the circle may already be calling you.
